Zena
Zena is needing urgent medical evacuation. She has been diagnosed with large patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) causing abnormal blood flow and significant strain on her heart. She is also severely malnourished.
Yassin
Yassin (8) lost a sister and baby brother to the same genetic disorder that he has. He has one surviving sibling, Muhammad (5). They routinely do not have enough food nor the money to buy the medication that Yassin needs. His health continues to deteriorate as he waits to be evacuated for treatment.
Hanin’s Family
This is a picture of Hanin with her two oldest daughters Maha (11), Sama (7), before the war. She is a 33 year old mom of three: Maha, Sama, and little Maryam, just 14 months old. Hanin has a giant hepatic hemangioma occupying her entire right liver lobe. Her doctor confirmed she needs angioembolization or surgery urgently and it’s not available in Gaza. Without treatment, a rupture would be fatal.
