Working Together to Deliver Relief
Our Board of Directors is composed of international advocates who are deeply connected to the communities we serve. We work collaboratively to ensure each donation is used to achieve the most impact for our families.
We partner with other organizations to provide essential goods to the children we serve based on the family’s location within Gaza and the nature of their needs.
Directors and Board

Charlene W.
Charlene is a Teacher of English for Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), a former AmeriCorps member, and a returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Samoa). Having spent her career in education and the non-profit sector, she is led by a deep commitment to the dignity, protection, and support of child life everywhere and to every person’s access to basic human rights.
Melissa D.
Melissa is a teacher with over 15 years of experience teaching and learning abroad. She has worked extensively as a volunteer with refugee initiatives during her time overseas, and has led numerous student-based projects aimed at building meaningful connections and raising funds for displaced communities. As a teacher, a parent, and above all a human being, she feels a deep and ongoing responsibility to advocate for fairness, dignity, and opportunity for all children and vulnerable people.
Jen H.
Jen is a wife, mother, and pediatric physical therapist. She has dedicated her career to helping others through work in the nonprofit sector and in the trenches of the public school system. An avid volunteer, Jen is motivated by a deep sense of empathy and the commitment to do her part in making the world a better place.
Laura M.
Laura is a mother and a nurse. She feels a deep responsibility to advocate for vulnerable populations, especially for children. Her work with the Fund is rooted in the belief that every child has the right to food, care, and the experience of peace.
Elvira H.
Elvira is an HR specialist, a mum, and a performing arts enthusiast. After having lived abroad for many years, she’s become a firm believer that what most enriches us as human beings is knowing people from other cultures and being open to learning from each other.
We work with partner organizations to provide essential goods to the children we serve based on the family’s physical location within Gaza and the nature of their most urgent needs.
