Sami was hit in the eye by shrapnel from a nearby explosion on April 8th, 2026. Despite being taken to the doctor for treatment, his condition continues to worsen. It seems that infection that is causing his face to swell. He is on antibiotics and we are keeping tabs on how he is doing through his mother Saja, who is beside herself with worry for him.
