Bana and her brother Sami are in need of supplemental food support. They are renting a room in a war-damaged building, where the water covers the floors when it rains. Without heat or electricity they struggle to pay the $300 per month. Their mother, Saja, just lost her pregnancy at 4 months due to malnutrition (on 2/8/26). Bana has a cyst under her arm that needs treatment via medication and occasional doctors visits and the family suffers from bacterial infections, but too often there isn’t enough money to pursue treatment.
