Tasneem

Tasneem, three and a half years old, has been ill since birth, suffering from an enlarged liver and spleen, an umbilical hernia, and shortness of breath. She has an older bother, Mohammed, who is 10 years old. They lost their sister, Amina, two years ago.

At the beginning of the war, the family’s house was completely destroyed in bombardment, and they were forcibly displaced to southern Gaza, where they have lived a life of continuous displacement and homelessness.

Tasneem has endured prolonged stays in the hospital due to complications arising from the lack of essentials like healthy food and basic hygiene supplies. Her doctors will not issue an evacuation referral and the medical care needed to treat her condition is not currently available in Gaza.

Muhammad suffers from calcium deficiency, hair loss, and extreme weakness and emaciation.

Their mother Dalia is pregnant with a baby girl and is due to give birth in the summer of 2026.
