Hanin
Hanin, her husband Bilal, and their three daughters — Maha (11), Sama (7), and Maryam (14 months old) are awaiting urgent medical evacuation. In December 2025, a CT scan confirmed a giant hepatic hemangioma measuring 13.8 x 6.3 x 4.8 cm, occupying her entire right liver lobe. Her doctor confirmed she needs angioembolization or surgery urgently. Hanin is currently relatively stable and mobile although she has been hospitalized twice recently as her health continues to deteriorate. Without treatment, a rupture would be fatal. Currently, she is not receiving treatment and needs strong painkillers. The equipment required to preform the surgery no longer exists in Gaza. She has been approved for treatment in Jordan and needs 7,000 JOD for the evacuation. She doesn’t have this money yet. We are helping her to raise funds. If you would like to contribute toward Hanin’s evacuation, please include the note “For Hanin” with your donation.

Background
In Hanin’s words: “Our life before the war was very beautiful and simple. I had a house and land next to it where my husband worked. We had a car, and my children attended schools and also participated in educational and training centers. I had a business selling used clothes from the West Bank. I graduated with a degree in finance and project management and had a one-year work contract. “
Current situation
“Simply put, everything is destroyed now: the house, the land, and the car. My husband can’t work, my children can’t attend school, and we lack resources, food, and medical treatment. I lost my mother and sister in the war. In short, everything is destroyed.”
Future hopes
“I have hope that I can survive: be treated and get rid of the tumor and that my children will have a better life without hunger or disease. I hope to have a home where I feel safe. I hope to have a stable source of income so I can provide my children with a good life.”
