Lian and Ryan narrowly escaped with their parents from the north of Gaza at the height of the invasion. Ian was born in late December 2025. Displaced multiple times, they lost thier tent in January 2026 due to severe winds caused by the winter storms. Ian has needed multiple rounds of nebulizer treatments as a result of chest infections and his mother Reem has not always been able to provide them. They have just recently moved into a building and are paying $300 per month in rent, but are hardly able to keep up with those payments. They face the risk of eviction every month.
